Blood / “bl00d” is an investigation into its various definitions and symbolisms/ associated meanings. From a personal reseach of ancestry, DNA, to passion, sacrifice, blood memory and its function as our vital fluid organ. 


FINA explores and finds expression through dance, writing, instruments, painting, photography and film. Reconnecting with her roots in Germany, interviewing family members and immigrants, she asks what do we carry within our blood and can we change?

”Blood is often what comes to mind when we think of war, violence, sacrifice - something that ends lives or can save lives. We are all related to each other through it. With my shared investigation I want to raise awareness to a personal but more so universal choice and possibility for us as citizens of our world to know what we identify with, what we care about, what we stand and fight for, what we want to pass on to new generations.”
